Derik joined the staff in August 2007 as Pastor. He comes from Kentucky and has degrees from the Christian Theological Seminary (Indianapolis) and the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond. He lives with his wife, Katie, and their children, Rachel and Will, in Madison Heights.

Susie joined the staff in January of 2006 as Music Minister.  She has a B.S. Degree in Music Education from Radford University and over 40 years of planning and leading worship through music.  Susie has two adult children and 4 grandchildren.  She lives in Lynchburg with her husband, Bobby.

Rhapsody is the newest member of the RMBC team and is learning quickly. She is a Liberty University '23 graduate. She graduated with a degree in Business Administration: Project Management and loves to plan/coordinate weddings on the weekends.
