Ministry Teams
Our deacons serve the needs of our congregation through ministry teams. We believe it provides effective ministry. Please contact us directly or call the church office (845-8855) when you have a need or are aware of others with a need. Each team consists of deacons and church members working together.
Hospital Ministry Team
Our Message: “We support you and seek your healing through encouragement and prayer.”
Our Purpose: To visit church members and regular attendees who are hospitalized.
Bereavement Ministry Team
Our Message: “We want to support and comfort our church family in your time of loss.”
Our Purpose: To minister to the people of our church family during the loss of a loved one (church members and spouse, child, parent or sibling of a member). The team will provide supplies (paper products) to a household, visit/contact the family, and pray for those grieving.
Homebound Ministry Team
Our Message: “You remain an important part of our lives.”
Our Purpose: To minister to the members of our church or regular attendees who are unable to attend church services. The team will visit those who are unable to attend church and keep in contact with the pastor regarding the needs of our homebound.
Outreach Ministry Team
Our Message: “Welcome! Let’s get acquainted so we can learn to serve you with excellence.”
Our Purpose: To serve individuals or families who are new to the community and/or who are visiting our church and to give initial assistance in assimilating new members.
Kingdom Impact Ministry Team
Our Message: “Let’s go and make a difference in Amherst County!”
Our Purpose: To serve individuals or families in our community through concrete acts of service and ministry that will make a real difference in lives.
